Im Kontext der bevorstehenden rechtspopulistischen «Selbstbestimmungsinitiative», die auf schweizerisch-nationaler Ebene unter einer verdeckten Rhetorik den Austritt aus den Menschenrechtskonventionen erzwingen will, um unter anderem die minimal verbliebenen Migrationsrechte nichtig zu machen, gilt es sich dagegen zu positionieren.
Gleichzeitig muss die Konstruktion Menschenrechte dringend in ihren Widersprüchen weiter differenziert betrachtet werden können. Weil auch die Menschrechtskonventionen symptomatisch für bestehende Machtverhältnisse sind, wie am Beispiel des Mittelmeer-Sterben systematisch darüber gerichtet wird, welche Personen von Menschenrechtskonventionen ein- oder ausgeschlossen werden.
Wir möchten versuchen, dies im Rahmen dieses Abends im geteilten Raum politisch, diskursiv und imaginierend aufzufächern und in Kombination mit gemeinsam geteilten Momenten von Pleasure zu denken, auch wenn sich darin viele Widersprüche auftun.

In the context of the upcoming right-wing populist "self-determination initiative", which wants to force the withdrawal from the human rights conventions on the Swiss-national level under a covert rhetoric in order to make, among other things, the minimal remaining migration rights null and void, it is important to position oneself against this.
At the same time, the construction of human rights urgently needs to be further differentiated in its contradictions. Because human rights conventions are also symptomatic of existing power relations, as the example of the Mediterranean death systematically judges which people are included or excluded from human rights conventions.
We would like to try to fan this out politically, discursively and imaginatively in the framework of this evening in a shared space, and to think about it in combination with shared moments of Pleasure, even if many contradictions arise in it.
