OOR Saloon ist ein Verein und organisiert regelmässig Veranstaltungen in Form von Soundperformances, DJ Lectures, Lesungen, Listening-Sessions, Workshops, Soundart Mini-Acts, DJ Sets und Releases und es werden experimentelle und kritische Live-Formate und Serien erprobt.
Das künstlerisch/kuratorische Team des OOR Saloon sind:
Aio Frei, Franziska Koch und Ahmet Köken. Georg Rutishauser von Edition Fink, ergänzt das Programm mit fink&friends Veranstaltungen. Zum OOR Saloon Kollektiv gehören ausserdem Alexandra Baumgartner, Pascale Schreibmüller und ehemals Otis Thomé und Sharon Ebel. Unterstützt wird OOR Saloon von einem organischen und engagierten Netzwerk von Freund*innen, die jeweils bei der Umsetzung der Veranstaltungen mitarbeiten.

Der Plattenladen oneʼs own room records hat den Wunsch suchendes Musikschaffen und experimentelles Soundschaffen auf Vinyl, Editionen und Publikationen unabhängiger Labels und Verlage in seinen vielen Facetten zusammenzutragen und zu vermitteln. OOR hat den Anspruch an den Reglern festgefahrener Kategorisierungen zu drehen, und diese als hegemoniale Konstrukte in Frage zu stellen und anders zu denken. Dies zeigt sich sowohl in der Struktur der sich verändernden Genre-Plattenfächern als auch in den darin zu findenden Platten. OOR Records verzichtet bewusst auf geografische Zuordnungen und verkürzte, essentialistische Einteilungen, und versucht über ein fabulierendes Kategorisieren und mehrteiliges Zuordnen ein anderes Suchen und Finden möglich zu machen.
ONE’S OWN ROOM denkt sich den Plattenladen als sozialen Raum, als Ort gegenseitiger Musik- und Kunstvermittlung und freudig-diskursivem Wissensaustausch. OOR ist physischer Proberaum für ein konzentriertes und differenziertes Verhandeln von hybriden Musikkulturen.
Das Kern-Kollektiv von OOR RECORDS setzt sich aus Franziska Koch, Aio Frei, Ahmet Koeken, Georg Rutishauser, Bambi Thomé, Klemens Wempe, Alexandra Baumgartner und Roger Aeberhard zusammen. Ausserdem sind Pascale Schreibmüller, Inge Moser und Marc Baumann sporadisch an der Lasdentheke anzutreffen.

OOR Saloon is an association and regularly organizes events in the form of sound performances, DJ lectures, readings, listening sessions, workshops, soundart mini-acts, DJ sets and releases, and experimental and critical live formats and series are explored.
The artistic/curatorial team of the OOR Saloon are: Aio Frei, Franziska Koch and Ahmet Köken. Georg Rutishauser complements the program with fink&friends events. Also part of the OOR Saloon collective are Alexandra Baumgartner, Pascale Schreibmüller and formerly Otis Thomé and Sharon Ebel. OOR Saloon is supported by an organic and dedicated network of friends who help to realize the events.

The record store oneʼs own room records has the desire to bring together and communicate searching music creation and experimental sound creation on vinyl, editions and publications of independent labels and publishers in its many facets. OOR has the claim to turn the knobs of entrenched categorizations and to question them as hegemonic constructs and to think differently. This is evident in the structure of the changing genre record compartments as well as in the records to be found therein. OOR Records deliberately refrains from geographical categorizations and abbreviated, essentialist divisions, and attempts to make a different searching and finding possible via a fabulating categorization and multi-part classification.
ONE'S OWN ROOM thinks of the record store as a social space, a place of mutual music and art mediation and joyful discursive knowledge exchange. OOR is physical rehearsal space for a concentrated and differentiated negotiation of hybrid musical cultures.
The core collective of OOR RECORDS consists of Franziska Koch, Aio Frei, Ahmet Koeken, Georg Rutishauser, Bambi Thomé, Klemens Wempe, Alexandra Baumgartner and Roger Aeberhard. In addition, Pascale Schreibmüller, Inge Moser and Marc Baumann can be found sporadically at the laser counter.
